In celebration of Halloween,

I took my cousins to a Boo House Saturday night. The youngest was 9 years old and insisted on going. As soon as we entered, she started bawling hysterically. She cried her heart out the whole time. Now that's what I call a Boohoo House.

(Boo- bad joke!)

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

Or should I say two of my favorite pics?

Thunderbird: smooth and elegant on the inside, fiery red on the outside.

The Skinny on The Fatty

I have so many people who read my blog (three). One of them e-mailed me yesterday asking what is it I keep talking about in my entries, yet never seem to mention. Perhaps this should clear it up:

Brad & Jennifer
Jessica & Nick
John-John & "You Know Who"

Get the picture? Good.

Haunted.

I saw "Ghost" last night, and memories of my last relationship flooded my thoughts then flooded my eyes. I cried and cried at the end. I lost it when Sam, before being sent to heaven, says "It's amazing, Molly. You take the love with you."

Attitude of Gratitude

Call me a sentimental sap, but I am ever so grateful for my friends and family. I had dinner tonight with my best friend and his family, and it was so good to be around them because I felt right at home.

When I wanted to leap into hopelessness in this tough time in my life, the safety net of those who loved me truly saved my life.

Wooly Bully

Man, do I feel like I'm third grade all over again.

There's a big black guy at the gym who seems to shoot up too many steroids. Every time I see him at the gym, he always harrasses me. Today he came up to me and said "Hey Hercules. Why don't you come over here and lift what the real men pump?"

Shut your piehole and get your He-Man routine out of here, you drug-induced freak.

Song Song Blue

It's amazing when a song you've heard many times before will suddenly have significance because you find yourself in the same situation.

Everyone knows the situation I'm in now.

Two songs made that sudden transformation.

Sing it, Kelly Clarkson...

Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I tried my hardest just to forget everything
Because of you
I don't know how to let anyone else in
Because of you
I'm ashamed of my life because it's empty
Because of you
I am afraid
Because of you

And the other song: Destiny's Child "Survivor."

Curtain Call

You know what? I'm think I'm ready to head back to Australia! Let's recap the weekends:
wknd 1- L.A.
wknd 2- Charlottesville
wknd 3- Washington, D.C.
wknd 4- Richmond
wknd 5- Kansas City

And this weekend- Las Vegas.

Not bad, huh? Not bad at'all. And somewhere in between was a three day trip to New York.

I fought going back to Australia for a long while. I probably even fought it yesterday. But when I removed my rose colored glasses, life in the 'Burg was too hectic- my parents and my bushel of relatives have too much going on, and they like it that way.

They say in Australia "No worries." While that may not entirely be true, there certainly is a lot more room to breathe. Ahhhhh.

No She Di'int

The Washington Blade, D.C.'s fag rag (gay newspaper), has a section called the "Bitch Session" where readers can anonymously submit a complaint about anything or anyone. If it's caddy enough, it gets published so that all the world can read about it.

Here are a few I liked from the last paper I picked up:

"When your 'baggage' occupies its own stool at the bar, it's kind of hard to talk to you."

"Bitch, it's not that I want to steal your husband. I'll settle for just borrowing his incredible body for frequent amazing sex. Meanwhile, you'll still have the vicious drama all to yourself!"

And my favorite:

"Why do all the people in Prada ads look dead?"

Overweight Baggage

Whenever I travel, I always end up overpacking.

So did the three people seated near me on my flight this morning. They were horrifically overweight. Aw, screw it. They were fat.

They were so uncomfortable, yet they pretended to be just fine (because there were three enormously giant, roly-poly pink elephants in the room.)

Conspiracy theory: the check-in counter people did it intentionally to make the other passengers giggle in delight.

Another Chelsea Must-See.

Cremalita, home of the best fat-free yogurt. Right down the street from Big Cup. I always stopped by for a small cone. And you know what's the best part of Cremalita? It's owned by a cute couple from New York City, unlike other yogurt places in NY who are operated from Big Brother in his ivory tower.

Check it out!

Other NY Sights

Ahh, Chelsea. A neighborhood full of boys who like boys.

My boyfriend's has a favorite coffee shop there. It's called Big Cup, and it is always crowded with lattes and lots of gays. They have a cool sign out front in the shape of a coffee cup.

Check it out!

More Retail News

The US has seen and done it all. Abercrombie and Fitch, with it's models wearing it all except the actual clothes, is a highly sought after brand in Sydney since it's not sold in Australia.

Abercrombie has expanded: they now have a sister store, Hollister Co. It's Abercrombie, but with a twist: this time it's fashion that's surf and beachside influenced. Sandals, tees with palm trees, and tropical flavored colors on everything.

But here's the even bigger news: Abercrombie has just opened a third branch: Ruehl. This time, it's all about Abercrombie, but with a New York City influence...dirty denims, faded tees with NY inspirations, and leather goods. And fashion ho's read my lips: no Ruehl catalogues. No website, no mail orders, just exclusivity to the six stores opened in the whole wide world.

All have different store fronts to represent their themes. I was in my favorite mall who had all three within a stone's throw from each other.

#1- Abercrombie & Fitch
#2- Hollister Co.
#3- Ruehl
