Pallia-who-what-what?

In regards to palliative care, I've had radiation therapy in my chest area for the past four days to reduce the pain in my chest whenever I coughed, sneezed, laughed, or used muscles in the ribs area to move around. My last session is tomorrow.

Aren't these details boring and tedious?

No dear, they are not boring or tedious.

If you were out and about shopping or turing some fabulous Italian seaport we would expect the same level of detail so we could "be there" with you and share what you were experiancing.

If medical details were not at least as interesting as a travelogue, then how do you explain the popularity of 'ER', 'House', 'Bones' and the amazing medical shows of the past?

Give us what ever level of detail is comfortable and useful for you to share. We are on this journey with you, walking along side, holding your hand, where ever it takes you ...

Hi Ernie - Checking here for updates just like you said to. Are you coming back to Arlington soon? If not, I want to plan a trip to see you down there -

I love your blog-I wondered why we did not connect this past weekend when I was down in Charlottesville. Curtis has gone to Fort Bragg for training-be back in a couple of weeks.

Dr. McIntire and crew send their very best to you!

Love,

Ben
