The local chapter of American Cancer Society had a black tie gala with a silent auction, dinner, and dancing with a live band. They honored ten cancer survivors to attend and receive an award, one of them which was me! I was so flattered and humbled.

In typical Ernie fashion, he wanted to stand out and do something different, so he picked out and wore a white dinner jacket.
