Several weeks ago, Paul Frank Industries established a partnership with Creata, a major promotion and marketing company whose clients are McDonald's, Coca-Cola and Sony.
Julius The Monkey, Paul Frank's mascot, was exclusive to Paul Frank Industries and its retail stores. The company prided itself by being owned and operated similar to a "mom and pop" business, where everything was done "in-house", relying on it's own talents and creativity.

But working with Creata, the purpose of the partnership will be to take Paul Frank and Julius to a globally-known household name level, by putting Julius in Happy Meals, school supplies, groceries, and tee-shirts found at Wal-Mart and Target.
Paul Frank retail stores will soon close. Gone is the exclusivity of Julius. The limited-edition production of Paul Frank merchandise is in the past. Prepare for Julius to be as widely-known as Spongebob Squarepants.
